Unaccompanied Trailer Park Usage & Charges
In recent months we have been experiencing heavy utilisation of the Unaccompanied Trailer Park (UTP) resulting in overspill onto the assembly lanes. On numerous occasions, this has caused obstruction and operational difficulties.
In order to ensure demand for the UTP is managed appropriately and wider disruption is reduced, we have decided to implement demurrage charges for trailers using this facility. The charging rate will be £73.85 per day or part thereof and free of charge for the trailers which are collected within a 24 hour period. Charging will commence from 1 September 2019.
